I’m Kate, owner and stylist at KG Hair Design. I’ve been a hair designer since 2013 and there’s never a day that goes by where I wish I was doing something else. This industry has shaped me into the person I am today as I continue to grow and perfect my craft on a regular basis.

I was born in Kenosha WI and raised in Sun Prairie where I call home today. I completed my training at VICI Aveda Institute in Madison. I had an amazing opportunity of traveling to New York City where I attended Bumble & Bumble University and became certified in their state of the art styling techniques. Since then I have taken color & cutting classes all over the Midwest.

I am dedicated to growth & knowledge so that I can provide my guests the very best in luxury hair care in a cozy & relaxed environment. I specialize in blonding, balayage & intuitive color techniques. I have a secret love for curly hair & love to customize each hair cut based on your lifestyle!

When I am not behind the chair, I am soaking up time with my husband and our two active little boys!
